These HM Disaster Operations courses are not intended to enable new employees to successfully complete all the requirements of their disaster assignment. The HM courses provide an orientation to the HM functional organization and activities of the organization, sources of information for the function, important relationships, and any other critical points that are essential to the particular function.

Course Objectives:

  • Describe the major functions and products of HM Floodplain Management in a disaster operation.
  • Refer to key authorities, programs, and resources related to HM Floodplain Management.
